Terms and conditions for booking private Sri Lanka tours with Shorta Tours Sri Lanka.
1. Agreement
By requesting a quote, submitting an inquiry, or confirming a booking with Shorta Tours Sri Lanka ("we", "us", "STS"), you agree to these Terms & Conditions. Please read them carefully before travel.
2. Services
We provide private tour planning, chauffeur-driven transport, and coordination of accommodation and activities in Sri Lanka. Specific inclusions are confirmed in your written itinerary or booking confirmation.
3. Bookings & Payments
A booking is confirmed only after you accept our proposal and pay any required deposit. Balance payment terms will be stated on your invoice. Prices are quoted in the currency agreed at booking and may vary if exchange rates or supplier costs change before confirmation.
4. Cancellations & Changes
Cancellation and amendment rules are set out in our Cancellation Policy. We will always try to accommodate date changes when possible, subject to vehicle and hotel availability.
5. Travel Documents & Insurance
You are responsible for a valid passport, visas, vaccinations, and travel insurance covering medical expenses, cancellation, and personal belongings. We are not liable for refusal of entry by immigration authorities.
6. Itinerary Changes
Road conditions, weather, park closures, or local events may require route adjustments. Your chauffeur guide will recommend safe alternatives. Refunds for unused services follow our Cancellation Policy.
7. Liability
We act as an agent for hotels, activity operators, and other suppliers. To the fullest extent permitted by Sri Lankan law, our liability is limited to the amount paid for our services. We are not responsible for indirect loss, missed flights, or events outside our reasonable control.
8. Conduct
Guests must follow local laws, respect cultural sites, and behave safely in vehicles and on activities. We may terminate services without refund if behaviour endangers others or damages property.
9. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of Sri Lanka. Disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Colombo, Sri Lanka.
